1 day left for 40 Over 40
Good afternoon! Today is Thursday, January 30, 2020, and we’re coming to you with a SPECIAL 40 OVER 40 REMINDER. Need to subscribe? Sign up for free here (charlotteledger.substack.com). Send to a friend.
Do you know a deserving Charlotte person aged 40+? Nomination deadline is Friday night
Let’s get those last-minute nominations in for 40 Over 40! The deadline is tomorrow night (Friday, Jan. 31), at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
The Ledger’s 40 Over 40 seeks to find and honor people in Mecklenburg County who are making the community a better place — even if they happen to be aged 40 and older.
Since The Ledger announced the idea in the first week of January, many people have taken notice and submitted nominations. Tough decisions lie ahead for our panel of talented millennial judges.
Who will you nominate to receive all this? Nominations for 40 Over 40 close Friday at 11:59 p.m. (Frame and berry-flavored La Croix not included.)
In addition to well-deserved recognition, winners will receive a handsome certificate suitable for framing (frame not included) and a limited-edition beverage koozie with a logo designed by friend of the Ledger Clayton Sealey. We might honor recipients with a low-key event. Let me know if you have thoughts on that.
