Street parking at The Ballantyne Bowl? Better make it quick.

Paid parking debuted last month at The Bowl as well as valet service, which is available on Thursdays through Saturdays starting at 4 p.m. The valet is located on Mid Street, between North Italia and Flower Child, and costs $12 on non-event days and $30 on Amp concert days.

Some visitors who park along the main streets through The Bowl at Ballantyne say they’ve been surprised to discover that paid parking kicks in after 20 minutes, making it best for a quick stop for a carryout hamburger, but not for lingering over a glass of wine.
