Trading spaces: Atrium and Inlivian look like they’re swapping parcels in Dilworth/Midtown, with both sites to be developed

It looks as though there is a land swap about to go down in the Dilworth/Midtown area — one that would allow Atrium Health to continue building medical offices near The Pearl innovation district while a big residential development with affordable housing could be built on Morehead Street.

Last week, Atrium applied for a rezoning on a 3.1-acre parcel at 720 E. Morehead St. That’s on the Dilworth side of Morehead Street, across from The Village on Morehead and next to the Duke Endowment building.
