  • “Andy and the Orphans” play, by Three Bone Theatre

    • When? Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.

    • Where? The Arts Factory at West End Studios, 1545 W. Trade Street, Charlotte

    • What? Join Three Bone Theatre for the Charlotte premiere of “Andy and the Orphans,” a rollicking ride that proves it’s never too late to follow a new road. It’s the first play on- or off-Broadway to feature a character with Down syndrome. Tickets are $25 online or $30 at the door.

  • Women Mean Business: An Entrepreneur Empowerment Series: Black History Month Edition, sponsored by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library

    • When? 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

    • Where? On Zoom

    • What? Are you a female entrepreneur, a woman interested in turning a passion into a lucrative income, or interested in ways to level up your business? If you answered yes to any of those questions, these workshops are for you. Meet and learn from top women business owners in Charlotte and experts in the business industry helping women succeed in business. Gain expert advice, tips, and resources to take your business to the next level. Some sessions will be informative workshops about entrepreneur resources, book discussions, and other activities that explore business topics led by library staff. This series is for all women business owners eager to expand their businesses, women interested in starting a business, and career-driven women looking to improve their skillset before entirely leaping into entrepreneurship. Registration is required by 10 a.m. on Fri., Feb. 10.   • Digi-Bridg Presents Bots & Brews

    • When? 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

    • Where? Lenny Boy Brewing - Griffith Hall, Charlotte, NC

    • What? Come watch and enjoy this first-of-its-kind community competition for adults and kids at Bots & Brews. All proceeds will benefit Digi-Bridge’s competition robotics program for the 2023-2024 school year. Ticket prices include food, drinks, and swag! $10 for kids. $20 for adults.
