Deputies found victim with a black eye, incident report says; Morgan led Charlotte Chamber from 2005-2018

Bob Morgan, the former longtime CEO of the Charlotte Chamber who stepped down this summer as head of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, was arrested in South Carolina and charged with domestic abuse, according to court records.

Morgan, age 60, served as the CEO of the Charlotte Chamber, which is now known as the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, from 2005-2018. He led the S.C. Chamber, South Carolina’s main business advocacy organization, for three years.
