June’s biggest building permits: apartments, Zara, fire station, high school gym
It’s everyone’s favorite time — checking in on the biggest commercial building permits issued in Mecklenburg County in the month of June!
Topping the list are apartment projects: the redevelopment of the former Duke Energy headquarters into residential by MRP Properties and Asana Partners, followed closely by a 281-unit residential apartment building off Sugar Creek Road near NoDa by Capital City Real Estate and Pennington Real Estate Partners.
Also on the list: Zara at SouthPark, a new fire station, Northlake Acura and a gym and classroom building at a charter school in Matthews.
