The search is on for the next Mecklenburg County manager, with a search firm posting the job description and applications pouring in to replace retiring county manager Dena Diorio.
In the job posting, the county government says it “seeks an experienced and innovative leader to serve as its next County Manager,” a role that “provides leadership for all County departments and agencies, a workforce of over 6,000 FTE [full-time equivalents] and an operating budget of $2.5 billion.”
