Local companies with best-performing stocks in 2023: Jeld-Wen, Coke Consolidated, SPX
It was a big year for stocks in 2023, with all the major indexes up double-digit percentages for the year.
And a handful of Charlotte-based companies, or companies with a large Charlotte presence, even beat the Nasdaq index, which was up an astounding 43% in 2023. The resurgence of tech companies has received a lot of attention, but in the Charlotte region, most of the big 2023 winners were manufacturers.
