In today’s edition:

  1. There are signs that the parking deck with 1,300+ spaces on 11th and Brevard streets in First Ward uptown — which has been nearly complete for seven years but has never opened — could be taking steps toward opening. We have info from the city and owner Levine Properties.

  2. BrickTop’s is eyeing a spot for its second Charlotte restaurant, following the one that has been in SouthPark for nearly 20 years.

  3. Ledger news partner WFAE takes a closer look at the track record of The Peebles Corp., the company selected to develop the old Brooklyn neighborhood in 2016. There have been lawsuits and delays on other Peebles projects around the country.

  4. Updates on the Kings Mountain casino, a non-Wells Fargo sign goes up in uptown, Novant Health buys a parcel near Mountain Island Lake … and more!
