North Meck was cookin’ in basketball playoff upset over Myers Park; fan hoists crockpot
A North Mecklenburg High fan brought a crockpot to Friday night’s basketball playoff game at Myers Park High and held it up prominently in the second half as North Meck cruised to an upset victory.
It apparently is a symbol that means the team is “cookin’.” Because of the camera angle on the TV broadcast, the crockpot was hard to miss.
Comments on social media included:
“Whoever this is with the crockpot, you win the internet today”
“They cookin’ man! Let them cook!!”
“I just want to know how she got the crockpot through security.”
