Peebles Corp.’s latest request for an extension ‘could doom Brooklyn Village plan,’ WFAE says

WFAE’s Steve Harrison is out with a big real estate news story this afternoon that says that The Peebles Corp.’s public-private partnership with Mecklenburg County to develop the Brooklyn Village project in uptown could be in jeopardy.

The article says that county staff seem frustrated that nothing is being built on the site nine years after the county selected Peebles as its developer.
