Editor’s note: Since this podcast was recorded, Bernhardt has announced she will be stepping down from her role with Freedom School Partners. She has been hired as the new CEO of the Greensboro Jewish Federation.

Glenda Bernhardt serves as CEO of Freedom School Partners, an organization dedicated to promoting the long-term success of children by preventing summer learning loss and fostering a passion for reading and learning. The nonprofit primarily serves under-resourced students and communities.

Freedom School Partners emphasizes the significance of addressing not only educational needs but also essential needs to ensure students have the opportunity to learn and thrive.
