Operating a business can be challenging — so we’re teaming up with some experts to spread some tips and knowledge.
Starting Wednesday, The Charlotte Ledger and the employers association Catapult are teaming up on a free weekly lunchtime webinar series designed to help businesses navigate common challenges. Aimed at small and mid-sized businesses, our “Business Toolbox Series” will help you build a more durable business, no matter your industry.
The series runs on three consecutive Wednesdays from 12:00-12:45 p.m., starting May 10 on Zoom. It’s free. Register here to get on the list.
The three sessions are:
May 10: “Build a Compliant Business: Tips to Avoid Legal Headaches”
May 17: “Build a Better Workforce: How to Recruit and Retain Top Talent”
May 24: “Build Your Benefits Package: Exploring Healthcare Options”
The Ledger’s Tony Mecia will lead a conversation with a Catapult expert, and we’ll take your questions.
This Wednesday’s session with HR advisor Stephanie Dillon will answer employers’ most common compliance questions, including:
How should employers navigate workplace discipline and layoffs?
What are the rules for bringing workers back in person?
What are the best practices for supporting employees’ mental health and reasonable accommodation requests under the ADA?
