Hi, I’m Ashley. If we haven’t met before, let me give you a quick introduction: I’ve covered commercial real estate for more than a decade, both locally and nationally. I started last week as the new managing editor of The Charlotte Ledger.

Pinkies up! I’m about to give you the CRE tea in this latest edition of Charlotte Commercial Real Estate Whispers, the best way to get the hot goss on transactions, rezonings and projects happening across the Queen City. Got a tip on a deal, a development or a debacle? I’m all about it. Drop me a note at ashley@cltledger.com.

In today’s edition:

  2. Where the Levine Museum of the New South may relocate

  3. Details on Industrious’ third location that’s opening soon

  4. Scout Motors weighs in on its headquarters search

  5. And a wrap-up of land deals and real estate news from other sources
