You’re invited: Come meet City Council candidates
CLT Public Relations, the Charlotte Area Chamber and The Ledger are teaming up to host a Charlotte City Council candidates reception next week (Aug. 17) — come on out!
There’s an election in about a month — and The Ledger is going to help you get up to speed on it.
We’re co-hosting a Charlotte City Council candidate reception on Thursday, Aug. 17 (that’s next week), and we’d love for you to come out and meet some of the folks in the running to oversee our city government. The drop-in reception is co-sponsored by CLT Public Relations and the Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce.
At least 17 candidates have indicated they will attend, including six incumbents. Early voting for the Sept. 12 primary starts in just two weeks. The general election is Nov. 7.
Come join us! It’s a great opportunity to come meet candidates personally and have a conversation.
