We are having a public review of the reval processes for country clubs, commercial properties and hospitals tomorrow night, April 4 at our BOCC meeting, starting at 6 PM.
Interesting piece, but the real focus should be on what and how Mecklenberg County spends the property taxes it collects. That would be more valuable than singling out non-profit organizations that are a critical part of our infrastructure. Citing New Jersey and Boston as scions of good government is particularly cheeky, given we see more and more license plates from both jurisdictions fleeing both places. Mecklenberg government is redundant and largely unaccountable. Examine it and serve your readers better.
