The streetcar never seemed to make logical sense no matter how much elected officials and bureaucrats tried to spin it. That route should have also been light rail, IMO. Charlotte would survive without cars on Trade street.
The Gold Line should do better as we add dense housing around the route. However, it would be nice if I ran more often and didn’t have sit at red lights. I don’t use it much but there are faster options. I also wish it came a little close to the main part of Plaza Midwood.
I hope Gold Line ridership improves. I have found it useful as a resident of the West Side.

Pols are happy to spend other people's money. It has been and will always be so.
